Just a Gigolo!

Meet Fred Sebree, who has just finished his enlistment with the U.S. Army’s hard-fighting 82nd Airborne Division. Initially stationed with the 82nd’s 505th PIR at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Fred spent six months in Afghanistan in 2002 and seven months in Iraq in 2003. He is currently a student at Western Illinois University in Macomb Illinois where he is studying business.

During his time in the Army, Fred (named after his grandfather) gained quite a reputation among his fellow soldiers as a practical joker. He is most famous—or infamous as the case may be—for his “flying squirrel” routine in which he would take a camo (camouflaged) poncho liner, tie it around his back, fasten it to his wrists and ankles, put on a gas mask (and nothing else) and run through the camp in true Fred fashion. Fred is also well known around the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg area Karaoke clubs for his moving rendition of "Just A Gigolo."

Our thanks to Sheryl for recommending this fine young man who makes us all proud to share the name Fred. Also, thanks to Fred for his service to our country. It is very much appreciated! We at Fredquarters wish Fred Sebree all the best in his return to civilian life. With his sense of humor and gusto for life, he'll do great!
