"Capitol Records had a beautiful line of children’s records in the early 50's," Fred remembers fondly. The Farmer and the Clock illustration (shown), is an example of original artwork created by Fred Rice for one of these children's records
Fred was also responsible for the creation, look and design of the cartoon version of Bozo the Clown. He even designed the first Bozo the Clown logo. "Bozo brought in millions of dollars to Capitol Records in the early ‘50s," Fred recalled.
