The Head Fred has the honor of meeting Fred Rice! Freditor’s Note: Through the years The FRED Society has required lots of hard work and long hours. But then along comes an opportunity that makes all the effort work well worth it. Because of The FRED Society, I was given the privilege to meet the multi-talented Fred Rice. I had lived just around the corner from him for 30 years and only recently made his acquaintance. Unfortunately for me, Fred was just two weeks away from moving out of his home of 35 years when I first met him. So it was a bitter sweet experience. I’m so glad I did get to meet him but wish I would have had more time to hear the stories, view his extensive art archives and just 'hang out' with this unbelievably creative and generous man. Thanks Fred.
