This greeting card was sent to us by an irate Friend of the Freds from Chicago, Illinois. It was produced by Hallmark Cards 'Lite.' A third less serious than regular greeting cards. The card reads (front): Violets are Blue, Roses are Red... (inside): I’d rather have you than someone named Fred.

Once again, an outright attack on our great name! A letter of complaint was written to Hallmark but nothing was heard in regards to this Fred offensive. The Head Fred notes, "I never saw the card in any local card shops, so maybe our complaint was heeded and production of this Fred-a-phobic greeting was stopped." We can only hope so.
